Overbay had a great career at Eastern Washington and is one of the top small school tight end prospects in this year's draft.  We sat down with Overbay where he talked about his postseason plans, career goals, and much much more.

Nate_OverbayWhat is your current height, weight and workout numbers?

Nate: I am 6’5, 260 pounds, and I haven’t really got anything tested on numbers so I don’t know about those.

Which agency/agent have you signed with?

Nate: Jim Grogran.

Where are you training?

Nate: I am training in Las Vegas with Mark Phillippi.

Any other players training with you?

Nate: No.  Just myself.

What are you working on the most in training?

Nate: My speed.  My 40 time is huge for me.  I am really working on my start.  My vertical is there and I am fine with my strength but mainly speed because that is my biggest knockdown.

Do you have a combine invite?

Nate: I did not get one.

What was your first reaction to not getting an invite?

Nate: I was surprised.  I was getting told I should get one and then not getting one I was surprised.  It was just more motivation now.

Do you have any all-star game invites?

Nate: I am going to the East-West Shrine Game.

What is the highlight of your career?

Nate: Just finishing.  I was there five years and you start out as a freshman and it was encouraging to me to get my education.  Then to play in the NFL is my goal too.  Memories I have had with other players has been more than I could ask for.

Who is the best player you have faced in your career?

Nate: I couldn’t even name anyone right now.  I couldn’t tell you.

Who on your team returning do you think has NFL potential?

Nate: Taiwan Jones our running back is a freak.  Then a couple of other guys are J.C. Sherritt and the Johnson twins I think have a good shot.

Who is the best player on your team?

Nate: Taiwan Jones.  He made people miss left and right and kept going.  He is just a crazy athlete.

What positions have you played in college and what position do you see yourself at in the NFL?

Nate: I played tight end and I would long snap some.  Hopefully I will play at tight end and if they need me to long snap I will do that.

Which teams have shown the most interest?

Nate: I think Miami, Arizona has a lot, the Eagles and Bears came a couple of times.  I don’t really know who else but the Saints came.  The Steelers came a couple of times.

What are your future goals?

Nate: Right now it is to work to get drafted.  I want to better myself to get drafted as high as I can and then be someone in the NFL.

What is your favorite movie?

Nate: I would have to say Ace Ventura Pet Detective.  Jim Carey is my favorite.

What is your favorite video game, if you play them?

Nate: I am a Call of Duty fan on Xbox 360.  It is very addicting.

What is your favorite food?

Nate: I am a pizza guy.  I can eat that any day of the week.  Pepperoni.

What do you do in your spare time?

Nate: I am a big movie guy and I spend time with my fiancée and family and friends.  I love to golf.

When is the wedding?

Nate: July 12, 2010.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

Nate: No matter what God has a plan for you.  It could be rough or perfect but keep going because he has a plan.
