Dear Journal,

The past three days I was in Cincinnati training with Cliff Marshall.  I came home and rested up.  I iced up because I knew my pro day would be a big day.

I had my pro day today.  I signed in at 7:30.  We had two separate groups there.  There were small school guys and Ohio State guys.  We did the weigh-in and bench separate from Ohio State guys.  We did our stuff at 8 and they did their stuff at 10:30.  I weighed in at 6’0 5/8, 207 pounds.  I benched 21 reps and it seemed like there were a lot of teams there.  I don’t know the number but a lot of teams were there.  We went out and ran our 40.  These times are crazy that they said.  They ranged from 4.30-4.35.  I had the fastest time of all the guys in both groups.  That was a satisfying feeling.  I wanted to hit a solid 4.3 so that was a real good time.  I only did the 40 and pro agility and position drills.  I kept my other times from the combine.  My pro agility was just under a 4.1.  They told me to come back around noon so I drove home since I don’t live far and ate a little bit.  When I came back it was a completely different atmosphere.  There were Ohio State alumni and family there.  There were also reporters there.  I did position drills with Ohio State players Kurt Coleman, Anderson Russell, Andre Amos, and Jamario Neil.  The position drills were hard but I did well.  After that they wanted to see me catch punts and kicks.  Overall just a good day.

I met with a lot of teams.  A lot of people came to me and told me I did well.

Trevor Harris from Edinboro was there.  He did well on the bench and I met his family.  He is a good guy and it was good to see him there.  There was a quarterback from Ashland.  There was a receiver from Findlay, a guy from Michigan State who had got cut from a team but came back, and a receiver from Ohio State a couple of years back.  I think there was a D3 quarterback and a corner from another school.

I talked to a couple of scouts at the combine and pro day.  They were just talking to me asking some questions.  It was the same routine I get from all scouts.  They were there to watch me run and stuff.

Since I have been focusing on my pro day I have not talked to my agent to find out how many visits I have but I know I have a couple.  I have not got into the exact number yet but will get back to you with that next week.

That is it for now.  Talk to you next week!
