33. WR Marcus Harris, Murray State
HT: 6011
WT: 175
40: 4.53-4.55
CAREER SNAPSHOT: 45-417-9.3-2 rec, 18-64-3.6 rush, 23-617-26.8-1 KR, 7-105-15.0-1 PR in 10 gms in '09. 61-652-6-10.7 rec, 5-23-4.6 rush, 2-26-13.0 PR, 16-431-26.9 KR in 12 gms in '08. 26-345-4-13.3 rec, 3-47-15.7 rush, 0-19-19.0 KR in '07. Related to former NBA star Reggie Miller.
STRENGTHS: Tall, lean, skinny kid with good height and length. Willing blocker. Versatile player who can return punts and kicks. Return ability is his best asset. Possession type receiver.
WEAKNESSES: Lacks great speed and route running ability. Not a polished receiver. Struggles to get open and does not stretch the field. Must improve his ability to sustain blocks. Needs to get stronger.
ANALYSIS: Harris lacks the skills to make an impact in the NFL early on but his return ability could keep him around camp long enough while he develops his game. A team who needs a return man could very well take him late sign him as a priority free agent but we will there are better position players out there with just as good or better return ability that we would draft ahead of him. Despite that he would still make a very good free agent pickup for camp but could really move up the board if he can run in the 4.4s and improve his receiving skills this year.
JBS PROJECTION: Priority Free Agent.
NFL PROJECTION: 6th or 7th round.
