Sources: FCS Defender Named to Bronko Nagurski Watch List PDF Print E-mail

Sources have told JBS that Appalachian State FS Mark LeGree will be named to the Bronko Nagurski Award Watch List later this week.  The Nagursky Award is given annually to the top defender in college football.

LeGree led the FCS with 10 interceptions last year on his way to becoming only the third sophomore in FCS history to finish in the top 3 of Buck Buchanan Award balloting.  He was a concensus 1st team All-American (TSN, CSN, AP, Walter Camp).  Many around the nation know this junior defender for his coming out party against naitonally ranked Wofford on national television in which he tallied three interceptions in the game.

JBS congratulates not only LeGree but Appalachian State University for now having two players on FBS award watch lists.
