UCA WR Willie Landers Injured Written by Admin    Thursday, 13 August 2009 20:27 According to David McCollum of the Log Cabin Democrat, Central Arkansas WR Willie Landers was injured in a shorts-and-helmets drill on the first day of practice.  His status will be unknown until he has surgery, according to UCA coach Clint Conque.  Landers, a junior, was named honorable mention All-Southland in 2008 with 44 catches for 735 yards and seven touchdowns.  He was selected a 2009 preseason second team All-Southland selection.
