Fort Valley State WR RICARDO LOCKETTE (6020, 205) tested positive for high levels of testosterone for something he purchased at GNC at the NCAA Track and Field Meet. He has taken 12 drug tests previously and this is the first time he has ever tested positive.
He has been declared ineligible at Fort Valley State this season. As of now, it appears he is headed to NAIA Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. Likely reasons for transferring to Belhaven are the type of offense they have which could allow him to produce good numbers and it keeps him in the southeast region in front of mainly the same NFL scouts as last year.
Lockette caught 19 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns while returning eight kickoffs for 222 yards and one touchdown in 2008.
